E-xpense ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the E-xpense mobile application.
E-xpense is designed to work offline-first and does not require user accounts.
All information is stored locally on your device only.
E-xpense may optionally request SMS permission to help users automatically detect transaction-related messages from banks or payment services if the user enables this feature.
If enabled, SMS messages are processed locally on the device only to identify transaction-related information. Users can deny or revoke SMS permission at any time from device settings.
Backup and restore features, if used, are fully controlled by the user. E-xpense does not access, view, or store backup data on its own servers.
Currently, E-xpense does not use third-party analytics services and does not sell or share personal data. If analytics or advertising are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
We take reasonable measures to protect your data by storing it locally on your device. However, no method of electronic storage is completely secure.
E-xpense is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
