Welcome to PixClear – AI Photo Enhancer ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and providing a secure environment for all your image enhancement needs.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, and protect your information when you use our mobile application ("App"). We believe in absolute data privacy. Because all core functionalities of the App run locally on your device, we collect minimal data:
- Photos and Images: The App accesses your device's camera and photo library to enhance images. These files remain entirely on your device. We do not collect, view, or upload your photos to any external servers.
- Local Application Data: Your app settings, preferences, and processed histories are stored locally on your device (using Hive database). This data is not backed up to our servers and is permanently deleted when you uninstall the App.
- Device & Identifier Data: We may collect info such as your device model, OS version, unique device identifiers (e.g., Android ID, IDFA, AAID), IP address, and network connectivity state. This is used strictly for serving ads and analyzing anonymous app usage.
- Purchase History: For paid upgrades, we track transaction items and statuses (e.g., active premium status). We do not collect payment card details.
3. On-Device Image Processing
To provide high-definition image enhancement, PixClear – AI Photo Enhancer relies entirely on local processing mechanisms:
On-Device AI Processing: When you select a photo and initiate an AI-powered enhancement feature, all computations, model inference, and rendering are executed directly on your device's processor (CPU/GPU/NPU). No image data is sent to external servers. Your photos never leave your device.
This guarantees total privacy for your personal images, as no third party (including us) can access or view the photos you enhance.
4. App Permissions Required
For a seamless image enhancement experience, the App requires certain operating system permissions. You can manage or revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings:

5. Third-Party Integration

6. Payments & Subscriptions
We offer subscription models and in-app purchases to unlock professional enhancement algorithms and remove advertising banners.
All subscription management and transactions are handled directly by the respective platform operator (Apple Inc. or Google LLC) via their official payment frameworks. We do not hold, record, or receive credit card, bank account, or payment billing numbers. Your payment details are governed by the platform store's own agreements and terms of service.
7. Data Security & Uninstall Behavior
We value your trust and implement appropriate technical and administrative safeguards to protect your data:
- No Server Storage: Since we do not host any remote image processing servers or user accounts, your photos and app preferences cannot be compromised via external server breaches.
- Sandbox Isolation: Your local app data is saved within the operating system's secure app sandbox.
- Uninstall Data Loss: Please note that because all your preferences, settings, and cached works are stored strictly on your device, **uninstalling the App will result in the immediate and permanent deletion of all local data.** This data cannot be recovered by us.
8. Children's Privacy
Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take necessary actions.

Depending on your jurisdiction (such as under the GDPR or CCPA), you may hold specific privacy protections. These include:
- Opt-Out of Targeted Ads: You can opt-out of personalized advertisements by disabling interest-based ads or resetting your advertising ID within your device's system settings.
- Revoke Permissions: You can turn off Camera or Photo Library permissions at any time within your system settings, which will stop access to those resources.
- Delete Cache: You can clear the local storage cache for the application in the OS settings menu to delete any cached parameters.
